Don't worry. I fear Urge to Gripe afflicts us all in proportion to age...
EU must bear its share of responsibility for Brexit. Trade community was fine. Court of Justice, drive to increase integration, and to some extent, free movement were steps too far.
I could not agree more, it is incredibly boring, dull and increasingly frustrating. The sad fact is, it will impinge on our daily lives for the next 20 to 30 years, every day. It's such a nasty, dumb idea and we are utterly lumbered with it. So I agree it's boring, but it is also incredibly self harming and stupid.
I’m sure we’ll be back in it but I will be pushing up la daisies with you old chap, you sound pinched by it….you can’t change what you can’t change, sing the old Monty python “Always look on the bright side of life”, I find it helps.🤣looking forward to the biggy….farnborough ! 16 Tesla test drives again🤣
Adopt the Euro and join what's destined to be a federated states of Europe (that thinks having the parliament in separate sites at Brussels & Strasbourg is a really good idea)...
Did I mention joining the Euro? This country will never join the Euro, the huge number of people who voted to remain in the EU had no interest in joining the Euro.
It's a totally hollow argument like all the others rammed down our throats by the ultra nationalist right wing media (owned by people living overseas who pay npo tax but were going to be clobbered by the EU) for 25 years before the vote in 2016.
Of course we won't re-join, no one in Europe wants us to re-join, they have all turned their backs on us and who can blame them.
The devastation to our economy, to thousands of small businesses all over the country has literally only just started. It was simply the most stupid, short sighted decision the people of this country have ever made, and we are stuck with it.

Naah... won't happen.
