I love that you're getting this off the ground (hopefully literally). Well done. To have yourself and Colin as part of the team is great. All that's missing is Adam Savage and we'd have the trinity of presenters that have had an enormous influence on my and my son's engineering interest (and Jake's 1st class Beng degree in Yacht Design). I know that you are always very modest about that influence, but without your unending enthusiasm and excitement the shows you've led would not have been what they became.
Hi Robert, I noticed that emissions from cars in the UK never recovered to pre-Covid levels. Now at 60 Mt CO2 (2023) vs 70 Mt in 2019. The fall seems to be to be attributed to EVs an hybrids alone. What do you think? See graph in the replies to this post: https://bsky.app/profile/robbieandrew.bsky.social/post/3lsxycjmf322b
Great news! Really looking forward to seeing this.
If you are going to start the new episodes with something like "coming up in this week's episode - Will the Barleypickers complete their electric underwater motorcycle, in time to start the race?". Please don't ruin the jeopardy by then showing the Barleypickers starting the race on their underwater electric motorcycle.
You never know, one of the biggies might approach you for a run on their network with some money behind it, after all Carpool made it to Dave (before James Cordon ripped your idea off), so you never know. I'll be watching regardless, it sounds fun and for me it was the engineering in Scrapheap Challenge that made it so watchable, not the noisy engine so Zapheap! sounds right up my street...!
This is brilliant news!!! I'm a HUGE fan of Scrapheap and get to watch the reruns on Channel 4's streaming service. I wholeheartedly agree with you regarding the change in broadcasting companies and it's scary to think that services like Netflix have dominated the digital waves.
I look forward to watching Zapheap with you and Colin (and the rest of the team) Huge respect to all of you.
"Not that I did mention that to Mr J Clarkson a few years later, in fact I repeated it several times as he asked me what car I drove."
Glorious

Ha... maybe it can reignite the hotrod mentality in rebellious youth...well, we can hope🤠
Brilliant news, well done 👏⚡️

Millions of Americans have been deprived of the joy of watching "Red Dwarf". But I've seen it, and loved it!
Some kind of addiction...
We bought the entire series DVDs 🤠
When being asked what car you drove <lie mode on>
Great news. Looking forward to it.
